Liam Neeson won’t move home because of water charges

HOLLYWOOD actor Liam Neeson has revealed he has reconsidered plans to move home to Ireland since the Government introduced new water charges. The 62-year-old star, who hails from Ballymena, Antrim originally but has lived in New York for 20 years, said he had planned to return to Ireland now his two teenage sons Daniel and Michael have left home for university.

Back in November, splatstick horror fans were blown away by the groovy news that Bruce Campbell would return to his cult franchise with the ten-episode half-hour Starz series "Ash vs. Evil Dead," and now the big-chinned one has given Entertainment Weekly the skinny on the new show. Apparently, when we find one-handed hero Ash 23 years after the events of Army of Darkness , he's still working a big-box store job and living in a trailer park when a Deadite resurrection prompts him to take a road trip with two young co-workersa and his boomstick.

Roman Polanski Can’t Escape Child Rape Case, Judge Rules

Fugitive filmmaker Roman Polanski, who pleaded guilty in 1977 to raping a 13-year-old girl and then fled the U.S. before sentencing, failed in an attempt to reopen the case. Judge James Brandlin, of the superior court of Los Angeles, turned down a request from Polanski's lawyers, who wanted a new hearing to try and close the case on procedural grounds.
