Genre fans were treated to an early Halloween fix this year, when the 5th annual "Mile High Horror Film Festival" kicked off October's Halloween festivities early this month at the Alamo Drafthouse in Littleton. Showcasing over 80 largely unreleased horror films from the up-and-coming directors of 17 different countries, MHHFF also featured a dark smorgasbord of festival treats that included the Mile High Monster Party, multiple panel discussions, live music, Tarot readers, artists, side-show performances, and specialized panel discussions with classic horror film actors and directors .

Half the fun of The Woman in Black was seeing what Daniel Radcliffe could do post- Harry Potter so when The Woman in Black: Angel of Death was announced and Radcliffe wasn't attached, I couldn't help but think, what's the point? Woman in Black is a fine film, but there's nothing particularly mind blowing about the Eel Marsh legend and, sure enough, the Woman in Black: Angel of Death trailers have failed to impress . However, we just got a brand new international edition and it actually suggests that the sequel might have some potential.

IKEA is getting into the Halloween spirit -- and reaching into the same bag of tricks that has turned recent promotional efforts into viral magic. After the furniture retailer skewered Apple's high-minded television ads with this satirical sketch , IKEA is back with another spoof -- this time of Stanley Kubrick's 1980 horror classic The Shining .

Despite the absence of original star Daniel Radcliffe, Hammer and Entertainment One have unveiled a startling new full UK trailer for their sequel The Woman in Black: Angel of Death that looks to pack the same old school punch that the 2012 chiller did.
