It seems even James Franco can't take himself seriously anymore. The infamous multi-hyphenate has teamed up with AOL for a new web series Making a Scene , in which Franco and his friends remix iconic film scenes with other movies and genres.

Tim Burton's adaptation of Ransom Riggs' MISS PEREGRINE'S HOME FOR PECULIAR CHILDREN is set to get going in February, and Tim Burton seems to have found his leading man/boy. He's already got his DARK SHADOWS star Eva Green lined up to play Miss Peregrine , and for the role of young Jacob Portman, Burton's looking to lock down HUGO/Ender himself, Asa Butterfield .

Even Twickenham Theatre founder Tony Green admits he has to pinch himself when he considers how well his fringe playhouse has been received. The intimate venue, next to Regal House in London Road, is on the site of the old Loft nightclub and has attracted theatre goers in their droves since opening this year.
