I'll be the first to admit that I wasn't a fan of The Purge, but I welcome the idea of a sequel because the concept is so ripe with potential and because the sequel, now titled The Purge: Anarchy, introduces a whole new cast of characters, wiping the slate clean and providing an opportunity for the filmmakers to fix the shortcomings of the first film.
