With films like The Conjuring, Sinister, The Woman in Black and the Insidious and Paranormal Activity films burning up the box office, Hollywood is eager to find the next haunted house hit, and the to-be-filmed Home looks like it has the big-name pedigree to fit the bill. Topher Grace (pictured) is in line to headline as a man who inherits his parents' haunted mansion, while Oscar nominee Patricia Clarkson is in talks to co-star. Dennis Iliadis, who helmed the Last House on the Left remake and last year's inventive +1, is on board to direct, and producing talent includes horror hitmaker Jason Blum (Paranormal Activity, Insidious, Sinister), Graham King (World War Z, Dark Shadows, The Departed) and some guy named Leonardo DiCaprio, who previously had a hand in producing genre fare like Orphan and Red Riding Hood.

Following last week's pick up of two horror movies that debuted at the Sundance Film Festival -- Dead Snow: Red vs. Dead and Cooties -- another two from the fest have been scooped up for distribution in the US. The Australian monster movie The Babadook, about a single mother whose troubled son may have discovered a dangerous creature in their house, was bought by IFC Midnight.
