Horror movie remakes are so yesterday. Horror TV remakes is where it's at these days -- or more specifically, TV versions of horror movies. Last season, Hannibal and Bates Motel made a splash; Teen Wolf has been a hit on MTV for several seasons; and Dracula is currently airing on NBC. Now, following recent news that there are series being developed based on Ghost, The Hand That Rocks the Cradle and Lifeforce (not to mention the long-gestating Scream, From Dusk Till Dawn and Hellraiser), comes word that The Weinstein Company is planning a series based on its 2007 film The Mist -- itself based on the 1980 Stephen King novella of the same name.
