Nurse 3D caused some ripples online a couple of years ago with its decidedly NSFW teaser poster, which promised a 2012 release. However, the film, about a deranged nurse (Paz de la Huerta) with a violent streak, has since largely disappeared from the radar -- until now, that is. I figured that the striking poster artwork -- not only the NSFW first one, but also the more demure follow-up (pictured) -- would be an indication of a unique, off-kilter, cultish film, but the trailer looks like a pretty straightforward psycho, fatal attraction-type thriller. Not that it looks bad -- it could be an entertaining popcorn flick -- but nothing as "out there" as the posters make it seem.
