It's been a full year since John Cusack signed on to star in the adaptation of Stephen King's novel Cell -- long enough that some might have started to wonder if the film was still a go or not -- but recent news that Samuel L. Jackson has joined as co-star should allay those fears. Even better, filming is set to begin in January, meaning there's a chance (albeit remote) we could see the movie in theaters by the end of 2014. The casting reunites Jackson, Cusack and producer Richard Saperstein, who all worked on 1408, an adaptation of a King short story.
