Fans of neo-cult film Trick 'r Treat, rejoice! The never-say-die Halloween-themed anthology is officially spawning a sequel, writer-director Michael Dougherty announced last night during a screening of the movie in Hollywood. Even better: it will maintain the backing of production company Legendary Pictures (who this year alone produced blockbusters like Man of Steel, Pacific Rim and The Hangover Part III), so it appears it won't be a cheapie, thrown-together follow-up.
