Well, this is one of the coolest-sounding projects I've encountered in a while -- not just because of the plot, but also due to the cast involved. Kurt Russell, who hasn't made a genre film since 2007's Death Proof, will star in a horror-western (a sub-genre that's seemingly still awaiting a truly great film; Westworld might be the best to date) called Bone Tomahawk, about "an outlaw who unknowingly leads a band of cannibalistic Troglodytes into the peaceful western town of Bright Hope."

Once upon a time -- say, 2008 -- there was going to be a remake of Tobe Hooper's classic ghost story Poltergeist; it even had a release date set: November 24, 2010. Fast-forward to 2013, however, and we still haven't seen the film come to fruition. But it seems we're closer than ever, with a director on board -- Gil Kenan (Monster House, City of Ember) -- and filming reportedly set to begin in September...but the question now is, is it remake or a sequel?
