A few weeks ago, it was reported that the villains from the first two Human Centipede movies — Part 1‘s Josef Heiter (Dieter Laser) and Part 2‘s Martin Lomax (Laurence R. Harvey) – would return for Human Centipede 3. Now, that plan has hit a snag, as Laser has apparently dropped out due to creative differences with director Tom Six, stating he “couldn’t identify with the character the way it was written.”

Hungry for more of Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence? The rapidly rising star will hit theaters later this year in the thriller House at the End of the Street as a teen who moves with her mother (Elisabeth Shue) next door to a house where a double murder occurred and befriends the sole survivor (My Soul to Take‘s Max Thieriot). The first trailer inventively shows the events in the film in reverse order, but otherwise the plot seems fairly generic on the surface. Let’s hope, though, that there’s more to it than meets the eye. Ever since her Oscar nomination for Winter’s Bone, Lawrence hasn’t had to settle for ho-hum fare, so I’m cautiously optimistic that House at the End of the Street won’t be the next Dream House. We’ll find out when it opens on September 21.
