The Innkeepers, the latest horror movie from Ti West (The House of the Devil, Cabin Fever 2) is inching closer to release, and now we have an official theatrical release date — February 3 (although it’s available on demand starting December 30) — plus a new trailer and poster. The movie stars Sara Paxton (Shark Night 3D) and Kelly McGillis (Stake Land) in the story of amateur ghost hunters trying to determine if an old hotel that’s shutting its doors is truly haunted.

NBC’s fairy tale-themed cop show Grimm premieres tonight at 9:00 PM ET/PT. Preview it with some photos and a look at the episodes. Friday nights typically don’t generate big ratings, but let’s hope it at least fares better than the Terry Gilliam movie The Brothers Grimm did a few years back.

Well, here’s a no brainer — or rather, a braaaaiiinnnssss-er: AMC has renewed its hit zombie TV show The Walking Dead for a third season. Following a record-setting debut episode earlier this month and a second episode that dipped by only about 8% in viewership, it was only a matter of time before the cable channel re-upped the series for another year. Presumably, Season 3 will begin in October 2012, but before then, we still have 11 more episodes to go in the current season.
