The Night Projectionist Going from Comic to Film

Posted by ReallyScary.com on January 2, 2009 Variety reports Myriad Pictures is reteaming with comicbook publisher Studio 407 to bring the horror series The Night Projectionist to the bigscreen.

"Projectionist" marks the second title produced under Studio 407's first-look deal with Myriad -- the first being the comicbook Hybrid, which is tentatively scheduled to begin production later this year.

Projectionist's story takes place on Halloween Eve in a small-town movie theater, where an all-night Draculathon draws throngs of moviegoers who suddenly find themselves locked inside the theater, which is slowly filling with vampires.

Myriad's horror credits include Jeepers Creepers 2. The first issue of The Night Projectionist miniseries will hit shelves in February.
