Just a day after Final Destination 5’s release was moved up two weeks to August 12 — perhaps due to Apollo 18 suddenly staking out the August 26 date — FilmDistrict has decided to move its Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark remake into FD5’s vacated slot, preferring to go head-to-head with Apollo 18 rather than the established Final Destination franchise.
